⚙️ Project Overview

The Solar-Based High Voltage Women Safety Glove is an innovative project that integrates renewable solar energy and personal security.
The system is designed to help women defend themselves in dangerous situations. It generates a short high-voltage electric pulse using stored solar energy to disable an attacker temporarily without causing permanent harm.

Additionally, the glove includes a high-intensity LED torch, providing illumination during nighttime travel or emergencies.
The device is lightweight, portable, and recharges automatically using solar power, eliminating the need for frequent charging or maintenance.

This project highlights the importance of wearable technology, renewable power systems, and women’s safety automation — all in one functional demonstration.


Working Principle

  1. Solar Power Supply:
    A small solar panel mounted on the glove charges an onboard capacitor or rechargeable cell via a voltage regulator circuit. This clean and continuous power supply ensures the device is always ready for use.

  2. High Voltage Generator Circuit:
    When activated via a push button or switch, the circuit discharges stored energy into a step-up transformer or boost converter circuit, producing a short high-voltage pulse.
    This voltage is delivered through safe metallic contacts integrated into the glove’s surface, designed for brief, defensive shocks.

  3. LED Torch Function:
    A bright LED light, powered by the same solar source, is activated by a separate switch. This provides additional visibility in dark areas.
